I used banding material to space the cleco holes. I cut a piece of banding material 4 foot long. Then marked down the center of it and then marked cleco spacing and drilled them. I made 3 of these, one with 1/2" spacing, one with 3/4" spacing and one with 1" spacing. They are very handy to mark cleco holes.
