BOX BLUR

When you first open your Box Blur these are the parameters you have in your preview window.

You have drop downs for the outside X assume and the outside Y assume. You can use border color, mirror image or repeat image. In the mode drop down, there is normal and abberative, the abberative mode splits colors. When you open your .cfg file you will receive the following presets: Bad Eye Implant, drunkenstyle, Hyperkinetic, mushrooms, and simple.

Bad Eye Implant

Drunkenstyle

Hyperkenetic

Mushrooms

Simple

I have to admit that I wasn't extremely impressed with the results on the entire graphic. I think this will be a more effective filter when used with a selection or a tube. I applied it to my "fancy signature" and was very pleased. I also used the Box Blur on the border of the opening graphic, at the top of these pages.

GlasSphere

There is a lot that can be done with the GlasSphere filter, there are plenty of parameters for you to play with when you open it.

Items in the Outside Assume dropdown menu include outside color, border color, mirror image and repeat image. You can change your outside color, light color and material color two different ways. Left click on the color and your color palette will come up for you to choose a color that you would like to use. Right click on the color and you get the eye dropper so you can choose a color from your preview window. Under lighting and material you have your basic parameters and advanced parameters. You can also adjust the refraction and lighting, along with various parameters to alto its color. A person could get lost in just this one filter alone LOL, and boy can I see a lot of new gems being made. The presets that you receive in the .cfg file are Amethist, Blood Drip, Blue Pearl, eggbert, Grape, Green Gem, Irish Rover, Love Will Tear Us Apart, Pale Pal and Toxic.

Below are graphics showing the presets. They will look differently depending on your color background, what you are applying it on or if you are using a transparent layer. These are just some examples.

Again, I was playing around with the different sliders, parameters, and was quite pleased with what I came up with below. I can't wait to see what happens when I really concentrate. LOL.

GLOW

Glow is another great filter. There are various parameters including color adjustment, gamma correction, aspect and several blend modes.

In the mode drop down menu, you can chose from normal, box, angular and abberative. In the selection show you may chose normal, selected image or selection. Presets in the .cfg file include, bright'n'light; burn out; colored city; high color flash; horizontal halo; red baron; sb-glowline art; sb-rainbow glow; and simple.

We know how I love to play, and here is what I did with just messing around. *grin*
