Welcome back! I hope you are all refreshed now and ready to finish up our angel.

Step 13:
Add a new layer, name it hair. Go to your tubes and open your hairball tube. I set my scale to 25.

Dab some hair on your angel. Everyone will do this different and there is no right way or wrong way. After I had my hair in place, I decided I wanted her to be a redhead ~~ like me! *grin* I went to Colors-->Colorize and changed the Hue and Saturation to 255. Save.

Step 14:
On your layer palette activate your head layer. Add a new layer, name it arm. Foreground = Null. Background = Pattern. I chose the Rock pattern. Scale set to 50 and Angel at 117.

Change your preset shapes to Round Rectangle. Draw out an arm on the right side of your angel. I wanted to angle the arm up a little, so go to Images-->Rotate and rotate your arm to the left, 25 degrees. Make sure all layers is unchecked. If you need to move your arm a little, use your mover tool. Go to Effects-->3D-->Inner Bevel and apply the md-earthangel2 preset. Save.

Step 15:
Go to Layers-->Duplicate. Go to Images-->Mirror. We now have two arms for our angel. *smiles*

Step 15:
Activate your body layer. Add a new layer, name it globe. Go to your tubes and activate your globe1 tube, scale = 25. Place the globe in the middle of your body. Apply the same inner bevel we just used. Apply the following Drop Shadow. Save.

(Offsets = 3; Opacity = 55; Blur = 14.8)

Step 16:
Add a new layer UNDER the globe layer, name it string. Change your foreground color to Black, background to Null. Set your draw tool to freehand, width=2. Draw a squiggly line from the end of the arm to your globe. Go to Layers-->Duplicate. Go to Images-->Mirror. Save.

Step 17:
I believe our angel is starting to take shape, don't you? What's that you say? Oh yes, our angel needs a halo. Under your hair layer, add a new layer, name it halo1. Set your foreground to White. Change your draw tool to single line. Holding down the shift key, draw a short, vertical line up behind her hair. Go to Effects-->Plugins-->Flaming Pear-->Super Blade Pro. You can use any gold preset that you like, I chose the gold_shiny. If you don't have SBP, you can always use Ulead's Art Texture. Go to Effects-->3D-->Inner Bevel and apply the md-earthangel1 preset. Save.

Step 18:
Add a new layer, name it halo2. Change your preset shapes to Ellipse, width=4. Draw out the top of your halo, placing it on top of your line. Apply your SBP preset and the same inner bevel. Save.

Step 19:
Change your foreground to Null and your background color to Black. Activate layer1 and add a new layer, name it base. Change your Preset Shapes to Rounded Rectangle. At the bottom of your image, draw out a stand for your angel, leaving enough room to add some legs. Go to your Inner Bevel and apply the Round preset. Save.

Step 20:
Change your background to patterns, using the same rock pattern as before. Add a new layer, name it legs. Draw out one leg on the left side of your angel. Go to your Inner Bevel and apply your md-earthangel2 preset. Save. Go to Edit-->Copy (Ctrl+C). Edit-->Paste-->As New Selection (Ctrl+E) and place your right leg. When you are happy with where it is placed, deselect and save.

Step 21:
We are almost done! If you would like to add text to your base, add a new layer, name it text, and add what you would like. When you are pleased with your angel, close layer1 on your layer palette. Make sure you are on the top layer and merge all visible. At this point you can tube your angel, add a background to layer1, frame it or whatever you want. You will probably want to resize your creation before sending it to your groups, if they are using this tutorial as a lesson. If you aren't familiar with resizing and sharpening please view my resizing tutorial HERE.

I hope you have enjoyed this tutorial as much as I have creating it. A special thank you to my tutorial testers, Suz, Suecat, Beckie, Elkay, Terri and Randie. Without these wonderful gals I really wouldn't be where I am today.
